In talking to some US colleagues this week, you have not missed the boat on the US and this market is starting to go the right direction, especially in places like Florida , Atlanta & Gerogia as Jamie pointed out.

There has been a lot of investors looking at Hamilton as you can still afford to get some decent product and a positive outlook with the Pan Am games in 2015. Waterdown, Str Catherines and Ancaster have also seen a lot of activity as well.

@imran jThere are always good deals to be had. It's finding them which is the tough part.

I still think Barrie, Hamilton and KW provide solid investment opportunities in Ontario for freehold homes. As does Toronto, If you can afford freehold homes in certain pockets of the city.

In terms of US investing, I'm not as sure. I've heard Atlanta, Georgia is making a comeback. Though you must choose wisely on where you invest in the city.
