Negatives: Very poor quality materials and workmanship. The amount of corners that this builder cuts is staggering.
Comments: LiV communities build extremely poor quality houses. In their effort to maintain the construction and closing schedule, the workmanship and finishing is very poor. Several issues and deficiencies were identified in the first 30 days including no or insufficient insulation at several places, damaged and uneven porch, damaged exterior plumbing and masonry, interior drywalland cosmetic flaws through out, dents and scratches in flooring,door sills with reverse slope to say the least. Approximately 70 issues were identified in 30 day form and counting. My advise is if you can, please avoid this builder at all costs. There are other more competent builders in a similar price range. If you have no choice or have already purchased a home, please hire a good home inspector to thoroughly inspect your home. Be prepared to accommodate a lot of work and several back and forth with the builder to correct the issues after closing. Its shameful that LiV doesn’t conduct a quality check before closing.
