Bathurst and Eglinton about to get a bit exciting?

Nice. Looks like @RAW Design has designed a really awesome looking building for the Bathurst and Eglinton area.

Once swamped by hideous buildings, and some cool art-decoarchitecture, this area is about to get a bit cooler with 2400 Bathurst.

I hope it has some commercial space, as the area is really lacking in pedestrian traffic.

Thoughts on this?

@buzzbuzzhome @Mark Savel Hopefully they will offer larger suites. Small 500 to 600 square foot spaces will not work because there isn't enough "happening" for the younger buyer along this strip.

Hey @Josie Stern, the plans call for 29 1-bdrm, 58 1+den, 24 2-bdrms, and only 18 3-bdrms!

@Joel Hurren That sounds like it could work. What range are the sizes of the units in square feet?

@Josie Stern I couldn't dig up any information on specific unit sizes but each floor is approximately 9,500 sq. ft and consists of 3 1-bdrm, 6 1-bdrm+den, and 2 2-bdrms.

The top three floors only have 3-bdrm units (6 of them). So I'd guess around 1,500 sq. ft. for the 3-bdrm units.

It seems this development to be designed by RAW never got off the ground? I was at the building today and the original 4 storey building still stands and it they have renovated all the units and converted them into condo and are now trying to rent them all out.
