Positives: I have been dealing with BGS Salesperson Sarah P. in Norwich. She is a straight shooter - easy to deal with Show more Comments: I wanted to buy a new home with BGS in their new development at Norwich. I wasn't impressed with their previous sales person, I felt lied to and I didn't feel that she knew what she was talking about. But then I visited the model home again and I met Sarah P. She is a straight shooter no BS persona. She told me upfront about the buying process, cost and gave me a realistic closing date (2 years). She held my hand through out the buying process and responded to my questions. I have read the reviews of BGS but I feel it boils down to their sales people. Sarah is an asset to the company. Don't be afraid to buy from BGS, their homes are great once it is completed, and if you are lucky you will get Sarah, she'll make things happen. Thank you for reading. Show less

Positives: Nothing Show more Negatives: Everything, Liars, Thieves and your not likely going to be getting a house. Comments: This company will take your money and you will never get a home. Most families who purchased phase 1 and 2 in Norwood almost 2 years ago are still waiting for a foundation to be put in and nothing has happened. They lie and trick you into giving them your hard earned money and then NOTHING. They build nothing and they lie and avoid you. Call the building inspector, he can tell you, they have no permits to build and shouldn't be selling any land. Show less

Positives: Nothing positive except the house finally closed two years later Show more Negatives: Too many to mention...framing crooked, subfloors uneven, staff for BGS are not reliable, make sure you have everything little thing in writing. Extremely cheap, work crew awful ar their jobs. Comments: I could go on and on here, not sure what turned out right. The workers they hire are cheap and don't do a good job, painting, framing, etc. House was NOT done according to plan. Hardwood floors all scratched and chipped, creaks because of subfloors. Ceiling tape was showing everywhere, was fixed then painted, tape is showing again. Crooked walls due to bad framing Anywhere they can cut corners they will, very upset and dissapointed with a purchase that should have been exciting and fun. Show less
