Negatives: Unprofessional sales agent
Comments: Very close to buying based on a good location and great prices. But the lack of responsiveness and upgrade costs were very high makes you wonder if it's worth the trouble after deposit. Stuck with bad after-sales services and a leaky home is not worth the savings. Try a more reputable builder. Don't believe their JD Powers award from 10+ years ago. They are terrible at responding to questions.

Negatives: Very poor build quality all around. Many upgrades purchased such as baseboards were extremely poor in how they looked and were finished. Very bad customer service during the build and sales portion.
Comments: Sadly there were many issues with the build being delayed up to 6 times during the total construction period. Sliding door and glass panes for the balcony were installed with cracked glass (Occupancy date was 5 days from inspection when these defects were claimed). Visitor parking as per the purchase agreement is not present on site.

Negatives: The after sale service is below poor. It took them 1 month to attend to my leaking ceiling, my bath tub is still chipped and I closed in January 2015. Buy from Mattamy.
Comments: I bought a new house from ballantry on Swanton Road and I closed in January of 2015. I have had a leaking ceiling, a chipped bath tub, cracked stairs, unaligned eaves through and many more. I have called and left voice messages for their managers but apparently they never return calls. Ballantry homes after sale service is way below poor.
