The Banks Summary

1050 Wilson, the former Wilson Avenue Theater (and TCF Bank), opened as one of the first large venues in the Uptown neighborhood, showing two vaudeville performances nightly. Now, 1050 Wilson is one of our largest and most prized FLATSstudio buildings. Encapsulated by the building’s original architectural ornamentation, 1050 Wilson has become, once again, a place in Uptown to showcase and relive the arts.

New meets old where this new construction apartment building will connect to the existing Vaudeville theater. CEDARst intends to activate the existing theater structure with a classy Food and Beverage user. The energy from the restaurant will be felt in the lobby of the 110 unit apartment building. The all precast structure and courtyard shape pays homage to the historic residential buildings throughout the neighborhood.
