Positives: Negatives: Dishonest and greedy builder. Signed contract and now asking for $50K more 2 weeks before closing. Sq ft less than quoted. Cannot be trusted to honor builders warranty. Given how greedy he is, he will not honor warranty. Manufacturing defects are mostly not visible to house inspectors and repairs can run in hundreds of thousands of dollars. Buying a new home from this builder is buying with no real warranty - too much risk. We are so frustrated that we lost the opportunity to buy another beautiful house because we fell prey to their initial pitch.
