Máximo Gómez Apartments is a new multifamily building currently in the development process in one of the strongest middle-market communities of Miami, FL: Little Havana.
The property where Máximo Gómez Apartments will be developed has been vacant for many years, and has been an "eye-sore" and a detriment to the community for too long. It's located across from a children's playground and a school. Metronomic recently acquired the 20,000 SF property and plans to improve the community with a development that is suitable for existing residents of the area, with a goal to beautify the neighborhood, improve living conditions, and enhance social and economic conditions for the community.
The project comprises 16 new rental apartments with a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom units offered at average market rental prices. The property is located walking distance from the Calle Ocho entertainment district, adjacent to the prominent communities of Brickell and Downtown Miami, and within minutes of the Miami International Airport, and various universities and colleges.
Construction of Máximo Gómez Apartments will start in the Summer, 2018. The Project is scheduled for completion by the Summer, 2019. Full occupancy is expected due to the demand for new quality rental apartments in Little Havana, abundance of outdated housing stock, and convenience of the location.
