Do you think it will be helpful to resell my home if I get my carpets professionally cleaned?

I want to resell my father's home and think a clean-up will be better.Should I include carpet cleaning in my to-do list? Will it be beneficial to get the carpets professionally cleaned? Have been looking at- centralsydneycarpetcleaning.com.au/sydney-cbd/

Absolutely. More than that, the house should be presentable in a way where the potential buyer can see themselves living in it vs showing the buyer how you've lived in it. Large open spaces with minimal furnishings. Cleanliness, or a home showing wear can easily affect the offering price, if you even get one.
