The Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth Business Units (“BUs”) of TCC, through its subsidiary High Street Residential (“HSR”), are planning to develop a 42-story, 308-unit Class AA multifamily high-rise (the “Project”) in Downtown Houston, TX at 800 Crawford Street.
Block 98 has a trophy location adjacent to Discovery Green Park with views of the CBD skyline, Discovery Green and Minute Maid Park. Discovery Green is the focal point of the sports entertainment and social districts of Downtown. Block 98 is the last opportunity to deliver a residential development adjacent to the park. HSR’s Project will be the only luxury residential tower with direct access to Houston’s skywalk/tunnel system, a network of elevated or subterranean, climate-controlled, pedestrian walkways that links 95 full city blocks. Block 98 will provide walking access to Discovery Green, a high-end dining scene, several bars, GreenStreet, Minute Maid Park, Toyota Center, BBVA Compass Stadium, and amenities in the Marriott Marquis and Hilton Americas. The Project will also benefit from proximity to popular urban grocer Phoenicia Foods.
Block 98 will deliver 308 apartments averaging 1,191 square feet. The Project’s unit mix will consist of 69% one-bedrooms and 25% two-bedrooms and 7% three-bedrooms.
