Positives: Negatives: Buyer beware: terrible customer service. It's practically non-existent.We purchased a detached home from Minto with high hopes. The customer service we received from the sales office was amazing. The decor centre staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Everything else after that went downhill very quickly.
After we completed the design process, we experienced 4 delays in closing. No contact to do a frame walk, informed of a delay due to COVID-19 only to be told last minute that there would be no delay - leaving us to scramble to make arrangements to move in the middle of a pandemic.
Worst of all, Denise the customer service rep, continued to respond as if all of this was our fault. A very disorganized team: there's an obvious lack of internal communication. As the home buyer, you'll really feel this and unfortunately will need to suffer the consequences - as we are.

Positives: Good build quality, bulider reputation Negatives: Lot prices, lack of info on Town center, questionable location, This is a review of Westlake. It all looked good on paper but..they charge ridiculous lot prices. We reserved a lot amid all the hoopla of the grand opening but soon realized the good value of the homes were offset by the lot prices 38-48k for a tiny lake view. Very little info was provided regarding amenities, the town center, etc. Sales center features a life size video of a lady who talks mumbo jumbo. No manned gate in a new community with an adjacent town center open to public? No mailbox in front of your 500k house but rather an apartment style kiosk? Plus a nice view of FPL's power plant smokestacks billowing pollution only 4 or 5 miles away? Oh, and a google earth image search from only two years ago reveals that the Hammocks (first development) is built over an old water treatment facility. For a bonus, research the fact that Pratt Whitney used to test jet fuel in this area which allegedly led to outbreak of serious illnesses.Calls to builder not returned.NO thank you Minto.
