Harvest Hills will provide 550 estate homes located in seven distinct neighborhoods, all surrounded by more than 762 acres of permanent open space and 9 miles of public trails. Each neighborhood will feature names like Valencia and Alexandria that honor Escondido’s first Valencia orange and Alexandria de Muscat grape crops.
Offering the perfect blend of contemporary and traditional elements, Harvest Hills’ homes will feature modern farmhouse, craftsman, Americana, California bungalow and California cottage design features. The architectural design is reminiscent of a simpler time but includes modern, environmentally-friendly and energy efficient amenities.
Creation of the new Harvest Hills community and homes will help the City of Escondido grow for years to come. Harvest Hills will generate a total of $514 million in economic impact and support more than 5,700 jobs during construction, and an ongoing economic impact of $53 million per year. New estate homes will also positively affect the City’s median income and support the City’s business attraction efforts.
