Best Condo to be Single In

I really like
One City Hall (Slutsky matrimonial condo)
Soho
550 Wellington

(I find Hi-rises tougher to meet people)

Your thoughts?

One City Hall has a very active rooftop lounge, but other than that people really keep to themselves.
Are you looking for "active" and "fun" condos, or more about the location and proximity to cool things?

I often suggest areas over condos. I like showing places known for it's nightlife. King and Queen West rank high for me as there's ample places to mingle with others during the night scene! Liberty Village is great for the dog walkers during the day. If I had to pick one condo that I've seen a lot of singles in...TipTopLofts
...yorkville's a great place for an affair #kidding

I can't remember who it was I spoke to - but they mentioned that BAYVIEW VILLAGE had a few stories of people meeting each other and getting married...

I remember Brad Lamb talking about tip top lofts a few years ago.
I get asked the question a lot by the newly divorced...i think its an interesting selling point for some

There's a strip of condos in Avenue and Lawrence area, that have been known to be somewhat of a "Heart Break Hotel". You'll find a few recently divorced singles there!

There is a reason Yonge and Eglinton is nicknamed "Yonge and Eligible" ....errrr, did someone try to change that to "Yonge and Vibrant"?!?!?
Minto Midtown??

What about upcoming projects??
I imagine that Bisha will be a lot of fun to be single in, especially with the rooftop terrace and infiniti-pool! The renderings for that look wild! Check it:

Will have to agree with Matthew, but we are biased!
If you're single and ready to mingle, Bisha just may be the place for you!
As it's both a hotel and residence, it will be a great opportunity for singles to meet new and fresh faces. The rooftop's panoramic view of the city will be quite the romantic backdrop for a first date too! ;)

I love this discussion! I'd say it really depends on your age. I have friends in Cityplace, but it's mostly people in their '20s and there is an influx of Jersey Shore wannabes. Same goes for a couple other buildings downtown, like, unfortunately, mine. How do they choose where to migrate? I don't know, but I wish there was a warning.
My rooftop lounge is OVER-ACTIVE. You can barely find a place to sit amongst these scantily clad JS'ers. Seriously, I spotted a thong the other day. But, hey, maybe that's an attraction for some! Plus, I think only a tenth of the people on my rooftop at one time actually live in my building. Too much mingling for my liking!
Ideally, you want to live in a building with not a lot of activity so you can access the amenities whenever you want, and have a friend in a 'mingler' building. Then, you can go visit the friend, but not commit to the lifestyle.
Another point on Cityplace: if you date within the community, chances are, you will run in to your leftovers on a regular basis. This is a common problem amongst said CityPlace friends.
I think I may wait to see the make-up of my next condo community before I commit. Lessons learned!

I LOVE The Arc @ Bayview Village..... huge patio full of people looking to meet new people all summer long. Great lobby and fantastic lounges. We also have a few social gatherings during the year on the patio which is a great opportunity to meet new people! Highly recommend the area!

As someone who lives in the Yonge and Eglinton area (warning :biased) I have to say Yonge and Eglinton. Tonnes of young proffesionals around and a surprisingly active night-life (I can hear the screams of the over-intoxicated from my balcony every friday and sat) not to mention great boutique shopping and restaurants.

Arc at Bayview? Wow, i went there a few times. Great common areas, but i found it had more older residents in the building

I'd say (while standing up with excitement from the memory) 55 Stewart Street, based on one hour visit not so long ago. During a showing, my client and I bumped into 6 women in the elevator, 2 in the hallway & 4 on the balcony just below us on the west side. Assuming they weren't all couples, I would def go with that address.

Portugal Square, 140 Bathurst is a great little building. No fluff. condo fees are very good, including heat and hydro. Small gym. Not so much the people in the building but the area and price are great.
If you can get in the building !
