I am looking at it from the investment point of view not a user .... so I am flexible re location for the profitbability of it...

@Sampan. Love Paintbox, and the entire Regent Park redevelopment. What Daniels has done for our city is unprecedented.
Here: http://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/paintbox-condominiums
In my list above, I almost forgot to mention Cinema Tower. I am expecting this to be a huge hitter, and definitely a building to watch: http://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/cinema-tower
@Roy: Dang 42 Charles... I can not believe that I put it on my list. Ya. Ya. Ya... it will be a big hitter, but enough is enough. I am so sick of waiting to see what it will look like, floorplans and pricing....
21 Grenville... I am sure that it will be HUGE!! Nevertheless, I am not sure about timing. IMHO, it will not be something to watch for in the next few months, but a bit longer term.

Right now Treviso phase 2 is a great project and we are finalizing the VIP stages for Peter Street Condos.
Both offer huge upside.

Interesting. Treviso 2 gets very little action on BBH, especially compared to Phase 1. How are sales?

^ we will have a clearer picture in 8 days :)
Eyeballing it, they have been very very busy during their preparation for the launch stage. No official numbers yet. Very unfair to compare it to phase 1 which sold better than 95% of the buildings that launched anywhere last year - it was sizzling.

There were a lot of good suggestions .... now need to seif through and get some sort of rating based on location, cost, quality, marketability ..... is there such rating that one has already done?

^ I suggest you team up with a good realtor who does this day in, day out. You can spend hours and hours trying to do this yourself, and will still be behind what q good realtor will share with you.

Hey @Bob... You should check with @TalkCondo. They are a great Realty team, and their site does an awesome comparison of projects with their Realtor insights.
Here are a few more to pay attention to:
- Lago - http://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/lago-condos
These three will be great for endusers, and potential investments:
- 8 Gladstone - http://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/8-gladstone
- 345 Carlaw - http://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/345-carlaw
- O2 - http://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/o2-maisonettes-on-george

The problem is - all of these projects "sound" great but we can't really evaluate them until we know the specifics (price, deposit structure etc. etc.). For all of the above mentioned projects, all we know is: Developer and location - we can only speculate which will be hot until we get the specifics - and then by the time that you have evaluated whether it's a good option or not, then chances are you're already too late.
Take PACE for example, great builder (Great Gulf) but the location isn't exactly prime. However, they priced very aggressively and within a few weeks are approximately 90% sold. If you asked me 3-4 months ago, PACE likely wouldn't have been the top of the list - but because of the price and incentives, it was too good to ignore.
It's fun to look ahead, but to ask "which will be the best investment" without knowing the prices/deposits/incentives is impossible to say.

...to follow on, in the future? I don't know, but right now - both Peter Street and Treviso 2 are good options to consider (both for different reasons)

Roy, what incentives were offered at Pace Condos?

I'm wondering... how come I have a hard time finding information and buzz and news in general about Showcase Lofts? what are your opinions on that?

Hey Matthew, thanks for the links
I was wondering more on public opinion and that of more knowledgable users such as yourself (aside from the aesthetics of the exterior of the building)
I seem to hear lots about work lofts and flatiron lofts and I even see posted in this thread something about 345 Carlaw but nobody seems to be talking about Showcase...
Then again I am completely new to this stuff so maybe it's just an accumulation of old knowledge that seems like a lot to me on other properties

@Andy, I think the best bet would to be to post your question directly in the forum http://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/Forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=490 or, start a new conversation for it.
That way you can get knowledge directly on what you are looking for (are you interested in price, builder reputation...etc..).
