Do you think the AppleWatch will change the real estate world???

Do you think the Apple Watch will change the real-estate world???

Some ideas:

1. Imagine getting a notification as you walk down the street of houses on the market, including the asking price.

2. Imagine knowing what your heart rate is when you walk into a house, and comparing against different houses you saw.

What do you think??

LOL.  Funny looking at my reply a year on too.  I've had the watch since October and I do like it a lot, but it hasn't changed the way we do real estate.

It would be cool to see details on a house as you walk by, but does that information really need to be on your wrist? Why not just pull out your phone for the notification, and be able to see much more info at once?

I can't see it being a game changer for real-estate anytime soon.

Short answer: No.  The things you've mentioned sound a bit gimmicky - and why can't you get that same notification on your phone?

I've now had the Apple Watch for over a year, and it has not changed real-estate for me - in any way.

Keeps good time though.

In some ways it's interesting to think about getting notifications as you walk down the street, in others it's bound to be overly annoying in a market where there are a lot of properties listed. I would also like to think we can cut down on our "looking down" as we walk and actually just be in the moment, taking in our surroundings instead of the notifications from our tech.

@Jack Levine, but IF you were looking for a house, and you were able to REFINE your search so only properties of interest would give you a notification - wouldn't that be an advantage to you?

If you used refinements, then you wouldn't be getting a notification every second, only on properties that meet your criteria.

True, Matthew. But I can do that from may computer. I don't necessarily need it going to my watch as I'm walking down the street. For me, and it's a personal thing, tech is becoming too invasive and all present. People already walk down the street looking down at their phones. The same notifications could be sent to your phone's larger screen than the Watch's tiny screen. The level of interaction on the Watch is small as well. You would inevitably need to fish out your phone to look at the listing more, save it for later, ignore, etc. But again, for me, I don't want to be tethered to my devices 24/7.
