Xmas gadgets for the home

Anyone have any recommendations for Xmas tech gadgets this year. I was looking at the Sonos Play 3 as a possible gift idea.

http://www.sonos.com/system

Any comments on this and/or any other great tech gift ideas for the home this year?

I want the Nikon D3200, which connects photos direct to your iPhone.

I came across this a week ago and think it's the most brilliant item for the home:

Nest - the learning thermostat (www.nest.com)

It could also be controlled through WiFi from any smartphone, laptop or tablet. The more you use it the more it knows your habits and temperture settings, and it generates a monthly energy report. You could also change the colour of the LCD display.
It's a little pricey at $249/retail, but your energy savings will pay it off in no time and it just looks cool. No moreboring putty grey thermostats on your wall.

@allen I have the Nest, and it is the best thing... ever! I love it, and highly recommend it.

A great gift, but be careful because not all houses can use it due to the wiring.

I have a serious obsession with Quirky.com -- lots of aesthetically pleasing solutions to common household tech problems, such as tangled cords (http://www.quirky.com/shop/electronics).

Also, Tile is a really neat gizmo for locating lost keys and other objects... (http://www.thetileapp.com/) The product is a small, waterproof plastic square and a companion smartphone app. You attach the Tile squares to the stuff you don't want to lose, and when any of those items goes missing, the iPhone app will help you zero in on it.

Weiser - Kevo
(http://www.homedepot.ca/product/kevo-bluetooth-enabled-deadbolt-for-iphone-4s-and-5-satin-nickel/847191)

With Kevo, your Smartphone is now your key. No more fumbling for your keys. Keep your phone in your pocket or purse and just touch the lock to open. No Smartphone? No Problem. Enjoy the same touch to open convenience with the fob. You can send an electronic key (eKey) to family, friends, or visitors who have a compatible Smartphone so they can use their phone as a key too. Receive notifications of lock activity and manage the lock and eKeys with the Kevo Mobile App. In addition to the convenience, Kevo is incredibly secure. You can add, delete or disable eKeys from the mobile app or utilize the Lost Phone Reset should the unthinkable happen. The SmartKey®deadbolt cylinder provides peace of mind for a backup traditional key and offers superior security against lock picking and bumping.

@Matt Richling ...I have wanted that for a long time. Do you use it?

Also, I am thinking about the Nest Protect fire alarm: http://nest.com/#meet-the-nest-protect but havent pre-ordered it yet.
