The layout for every home is individually designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. Enhancing the level of privacy, the building is designed to offer two “wings” of residences. A dedicated elevator serves each wing, ensuring that hallway corridors serve no more than four homes.
To ensure homes would be bathed in natural light, thoughtful details include oversized bronze beveled casement windows, corner exposures, and private outdoor spaces including covered loggias and gracious terraces overlooking Nob Hill.

Champalimaud Design’s sophisticated appointments add to the refinement of Robert A.M. Stern Architects’ residential layouts; their thoughtful level of bespoke details are reflective of their private commissions. One of the industry’s most celebrated interior design firms, Champalimaud is lauded for creating sophisticated, welcoming, and comfortable interiors. Crescent marks the firm’s first multi-family residential development on the West Coast.
Flowing layouts seamlessly connect the open kitchens to the living/dining areas. The kitchens feature custom cabinetry, designed by Champalimaud, precision engineered in Germany. Honed Mediterraneo marble countertops and backsplashes frame the integrated suite of appliances from Sub-Zero and Wolf. The finishing touch is the Dornbracht polished chrome faucet with hand spray.

In the process of conceptualizing Crescent, Grosvenor Americas set out to create something that had yet to be offered in Nob Hill: a collection of true penthouses that seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor living. With layouts designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, each of the four Penthouses offers graciously scaled living rooms with expansive terraces. The highlight of each Penthouse is the additional sweeping private entertaining rooftop terrace connected to the main level by a private staircase. These outdoor great rooms are outfitted with utility hookups, allowing future residents to create their own coveted entertaining oasis atop this remarkable addition to the neighborhood.
