RESIDENCES WITH CURVE APPEAL
252 East 57 Street is the first new development commission for lauded ADA100 designer Daniel Romualdez who approached the project as a series of private commissions, allotting the same care and detail for each residence that he applies to private home projects. Spaces flow naturally into one another, custom kitchens prioritize functionality, floor and millwork showcase elevated ceiling heights and walls of windows capture Central Park, river and skyscraper views.
A PANORAMIC PERSPECTIVE
Equidistant between Central Park and the East River, the block-long site offers iconic cityscape, park, and water views. With only two to four residences per floor, every home offers a double or triple exposure, capturing iconic panoramas of Manhattan's most important landmarks.
DESIGNED FOR GRAND ENTERTAINING
More than a selection of condominiums, 252 East 57th Street offers unique homes in the sky. The sense of expansiveness starts at the entry where a formal gallery leads into the grandly scaled entertaining spaces.
CHEF'S KITCHEN
The kitchen spaces are infused with wonderful natural light and spectacular views. Horizontal-grain walnut cabinetry is framed by a HanStone glass quartz countertop and backsplash. The finishing elements include a Dornbracht Elio polished chrome faucet, a 33" Kohler Stages collection sink with an integrated walnut cutting board and prep bowls, and fully integrated appliances with a vented Miele 36" five-burner gas cooktop and a wine refrigerator.
MASTER BATH RETREATS
The luminosity of natural light inspired the selection of polished white Nanoglass walls and floors. The focal point is the 6' bathtub designed by Daniel Romualdez set in a granite bench. Additional luxuries include THG polished chrome fixtures by Alberto Pinto with multiple individually controlled shower heads, radiant heat flooring, heated towel bars, and Toto toilets, adaptable to the Washlet system.
POWDER ROOM
Daniel Romualdez creates custom-designed palettes for both the secondary baths and powder rooms. The secondary baths are smartly tailored with white Carrara marble mosaic accent walls, porcelain tile floors, and Dornbracht Meta.02 polished chrome fixtures. Many residences also feature powder rooms. Daniel Romualdez finished these jewel-box spaces with hand-selected wallpaper and Striato Olimpico marble vanity with Dornbracht Tara polished chrome fixtures.
