It’s all fitness and fun at home on the open sea.

Blue World Voyages, a Miami-based luxury cruise line company, is offering the opportunity of a lifetime to own a residence aboard their fitness-focused cruise ship, Blue World Owners Club.

The company is the world’s first cruise line dedicated to sports, fitness, and wellness, what Blue World Voyages dubs as, “active lifestyle cruising.” Advance registration is now open for the 24 one- and two-bedroom residences onboard the vessel, which is scheduled to take its maiden voyage in 2020. The ship, which World Voyage plans to convert from a 900-passenger cruise liner, will be able to hold 350 guests, along with the 24 exclusive purchasing members who will hold a seat on the ship’s Owners Club.

Of the 24 residences, ten will be one-bedroom units that hit around 850 square feet, and 14 will be duplex two-bedroom units around 1,200 square feet.  The single-floor, one-bedroom residences feature spacious living areas complemented by a master bedroom with a large bathroom and walk-in closet. The two-bedroom residences are split across two floors, with a living area that opens to a balcony on the first floor, and a second floor that includes a guest room, a master suite with its own private balcony and walk-in closet.

Each residence comes fully-furnished complete with linens, comforters, blankets, pillows, and towels. Owners will have the option to choose between a classic or contemporary design for their new home at sea. Each residence will come with a locker space for personal storage, along with butler, concierge, and housekeeping services that will be available at the drop of a hat. The one bedroom units will be priced from $2,350,000 USD, and the two bedrooms prices will start from $3,350,000 USD.

While at sea, residents are treated to the ultimate onboard experience. The two upper-decks of the ship will be reserved for owners and house the residence units, complemented by an open deck terrace, owners lounge, and bar. The ship will include an entire deck devoted to sports and fitness, featuring a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, basketball court, batting cages, and golf and soccer simulators. Another deck will be dedicated to a fully-equipped luxury spa and wellness facility, featuring an infinity therapy pool and solarium. A floating sea-water lap pool will be available at the base of the ship, allowing passengers to enjoy sea-level cabanas and provide easy access to water sports. Fresh, locally-sourced meals will also be available at the four restaurants located throughout the ship, all included in the purchase price.

Blue World Voyages is offering much more than its impressive collection of onboard amenities; they are offering unparalleled experiences throughout the entire world. Blue World’s ships have the ability to access more intimate and secluded areas of the water that most larger cruise ships can’t. Whether you want to snorkel, surf, kayak, or paddle board at sea, or head onto shore to golf, hike, or explore the area, Blue World will provide guests with all of the equipment they need to do so. The company is also planning to launch an app that will assist guests along their journey.

As these residences are homeownership units, members of the Owners Club will be allowed to stay as long as they want, while also having the option to lend their residence to family, friends, and business associates. Members can also rent their residence through the ship’s rental program if they get sea sick or just want some time away from the open ocean. Blue World is estimating that renting out a residence for 23 weeks a year will cover the annual maintenance fees.

While Blue World Voyages is only developing a singular ship at the moment, members will be able to participate in an exchange program to use another unit on future Blue World Voyage ships. As an owner, you will automatically become a shareholder of Blue World, with share values increasing as more ships are added.

Sometime next year, the ship will set sail in the Mediterranean, making stops in Southern France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, and Montenegro. The ship is also scheduled to sail the Norweigan and Baltic Seas and explore the coasts of Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and Russia, among others. Future destinations during the winter months are expected to include areas along the South American coastline.

Registration for the limited number of private residences is now open, giving priority to registered applicants and placing them at the head of the line when sales officially launch. Once Blue World secures the vessel, sales for the residences is scheduled to begin.  As of two weeks ago, nearly 200 interested buyers had already registered.
