Residential development is at an all time high in Seattle. With a prospective high supply of housing and a cooler market, prices are also relatively lower. In addition to new apartments being brought to the market, according to a report in the Seattle Times, 1 in 10 apartments in Seattle are vacant. The increased volume of soon-to-be completed developments and vacancies is a possible indicator that low rental prices will trend throughout 2019. To increase demand, landlords are offering incentives in attempts to rent out spaces. Listed below are apartments renting for under $1,800 a month, many of which also have move-in specials.
