From the builder; THIS LANDMARK BUILDING, beside the Mill Creek Ravine and Whyte Avenue, has finally been brought back to life, as a conversion into high-end condominiums?-?Trinity Pointe.
The iconic brick structure at the east end of the Mill Creek bridge, prior to its transformation, sat unused after the Sisters of Holy Cross Convent moved nearby to a smaller 14 bedroom building several years ago. The building was erected between 1962 and 1964 to house seniors and young sisters studying at the University of Alberta. The imposing building once included a chapel, a basketball court in the basement, a dining room, three solariums, a library, an infirmary, a games room and beauty salon. Today, all of this has been replaced with ultra exclusive residences.
Few changes have been made to the brick exterior of the building; however, the interior has been completely remodelled.
