@Marco: What is wrong with this? It is just an advertisment on wheels, no different than a bus-stop ad or a classified ad.

I think its great!! It's not hurting anyone and some companies are pretty creative so I like to see it on the streets.

I personally think it's tacky and it cheapens that agent's credibility. It screams "I NEED clients, so I'm going to go so far as wrapping my vehicle to get them." Client referrals/testimonials are a much better way to convince people you're good at what you do. This is too "in your face" for my liking.

I look at it the other way...
thanks Matt for posting this up...
I get comments much different that what I see here... Best is, which resonates with me, that I'm committed to my business.
My past vehicle generated lots of business for me

I find it a very effective and efficient way to get my word out and become recognized... Much cheaper than get a billboard...

I have personalized plates, and I think that is as far as I would take it. However, I think what Addy has done s impactful. It will take people to Google and directly to his website. If his site has the content to keep people intrigued, it will work if his site can’t hold the audience it can become another gimmick.
Good or bad, people will be talking about it and that's all that counts.

I do not understand why people would not like it. As @Moo said, it is just an advertisement on wheels.
As Addy said, it generates business! Money is money!
@Addy: That bike is AWESOME!!

Kind of a "used car salesman" approach to marketing. It may make a few bucks over the course time, but really downgrades the professionalism of the industry.

Thumbs up to this idea. Much better than bus-stop advertising, or all the other silly advertising that I see on cheap TV stations.

Car wrapping is better then a bus stop ad in my opinion. I don't want people sitting on my face! I like Addys car wraps.

And there are a lot of things that degrade the industry, car wrapping is at the bottom of the list in my opinion.

I'm for car wraps, it's money better spent than on bus benchs. What i think works is the mobility of it and the reach. I'm just getting my proof finalized, I will share once it's done.

I find that this works really well in small towns... seen success stories over and over with making your name know at the local little league games. Other than that I think all the ads should stay on the Nascar circuit.
Kind of like the bike idea though!!

LOVE IT!! I'd say go all out like Addy. His car makes people stop in their tracks. With this sort of thing, I feel like you have to go for shock value if you want to gain max attention.
On the other hand, the bee is cute, so people may be attracted to that in itself.

Buy a Ford Transit Connect--cute litte van that Bell uses and has higher roofline for more effective advertising. Gets good gas mileage and has enough room for all the bees!
I suppose the new Mini Coupe may do the trick as well.

Personally i wouldn't wrap my own vehicle...but i might consider paying someone else to wrap their vehicle with my ad...i've seen a few people do it this way...personally i couldn't look at my car covered in ad's all day and having to drive it would be another story...There's also services now that run your ad for a specific length of time (ie one month) on large trucks with screens all around while they spend the day driving up and down the major streets with the most foot and road traffic...
the only thing i cant stand is a tasteless ad...if its done right....its alright..

I don't like the idea, but to each their own. We do own a 1948 pickup truck that's been fully restored and has a few classy logos on it. It's used occassionally for work but mostly in community sponsored events.

Also, I am really digging the subtle advertising. Looks amazing.

Car wraps, when executed tastefully, are cool! A lot of people (not just realtors, but other businesses in general) can get carried away and try to jam so much information/images into their ads. All advertising should abide by the KISS method: Keep It Simple Stupid!

What we would love to see is a more innovative/interactive car wrap!

Car wraps are even tackier than billboard or bus shelter ads.
I wouldn't want to even get into a car like that for showings.
A good agent doesn't need to rely on this kind marketing.

This is a funny wrap fail that went viral a few months ago:

That vintage truck from Grace is awesome.
It's not a wrap, but it's subtle, tasteful and gets your attention simply because it's a cool looking truck.

Other agents should learn from this. Kudos to Grace!

A vintage VW microbus, 60's Coupe de Ville convertible, a Studebaker, or a London black cab would also be really cool realtor cars that would grab your attention without resorting to in-your-face graphics.

Isn't this whole entire industry based on marketing? so why not maximize your exposure to the market to the full extent.
The real question is whether you would actually do that to your car to begin with.

As any advertisement if it is tastefully done why not? I don’t see how it’s worst than the guy with the huge ear or bunny in the hat on a bench or garbage container (those ones were all over the North York). At least this is on their own vehicles not on the city property.
