Edit/Delete Post

I'm sure everyone has hit the "POST REPLY" button a little too soon - and now your post that makes no sense is available for the whole web to view and laugh at.

I'm thinking an "EDIT POST" or even "DELETE POST" (who knows what I'm going to come and write at 3am after a Saturday night out???) is very important.

Thoughts?

Hey Roy,
Thanks for your comment, and this is one that has come up by a few people.
We are aiming for the BuzzBuzzHome Forums to be a place of great discussion, debate and gossip.
As such, we followed along the lines of some of the forum / discussion room "greats", which do not allow people to edit posts once they are posted.
This is something that we may revisit in the future. In the interim, if you really want a post deleted, please contact our team at info@buzzbuzzhome.com and we will see what we can do!
As a side, we have loved all your posts, and they seem to make sense!
Buzzzzz out.
Hope that helps!

I gotta say Im with Roy and think an edit button would be a good idea. I've needed to edit a few of my posts.

Hi,
Cliff here from the BBH product development team. We've discussed and researched the issue and we will introduce a method for users to edit and delete their replies. This feature should be deployed over the next several weeks.
Thanks for the feedback!!

Agreed, what if information changed? Edit button is needed.

@Nicole we're working on it - give us about a month because we're wrapping up a large site update that we have to finish first.

I just hope an edit or delete button doesn't get abused. Lively discussion and debate is good. Hopefully people won't delete old posts once they are within a discussion...

FYI: just to wrap up this thread, BuzzBuzzHome launched an "Edit/Delete" button on our Chat a few months ago.

Thanks for the suggestions!
