Wow did I ever get a rude awakening when visiting this sales office today.. BuzzBuzzHomes said from $250,000 but even the tinyest, most basic townhouse starts at $380k or something.. Way out of my league. Single's are $459k and up.. Way too rich for my blood

Anyone know of any preconstruction deals for under 300k ?? I am a first time buyer and just can't imagine so much debt!! I have about $80k to put as a downpayment right away.

380 for a townhouse in Brampton? That seems quite high to me... I know mattamy builds a lot there, did you try them?

EDIT: well I just noticed it says including HST on there, the girl didn't even mention that part.. Even still, doesn't this sound like alot?
I will google for Mattamy right now and see, is there any other places you know of that list pre-construction deals or other deals for Brampton?
