What condos have a Lockbox Area?

I just went by @32 Camden Street, and noticed that they have a dedicated area on the outside of the building for Realtor lockboxes.

Pic below:

I thought this was really really smart of @Sorbara Development Group

Do other condos have such a thing??? Do you think it is useful??

@Matthew Slutsky If I remember correctly, I believe my agent got a key from the concierge to access the outer box. As a potential resident, it was nice to see that added level of security.

As safe as lockboxes are somehow that doesn't sound like a safe idea, I've never seen any other condos with lockboxes out and available.

I've seen this many  in the city. I think the concern is that the keybox is not in a secure place and it contains a key to get into the building .You even see this in the suburbs. I don't think this is that uncommon amoung condo buildings.

For buildings without security or a concierge, yes, having a dedicated space for lockboxes is very convenient. It would be perfect yes, but many buildings do not have security or staff onsite. I have stopped using the older lock boxes for a number of reasons, mainly for security reasons. Now I only use the GE Supra iBox and eKey (which is supported by our board). They are more expensive $100 per, but a thousand times more secure, fire, and ice proof. No need to worry about codes, plus if something is missing just log in and see who was the last to enter. http://www.supraekey.com/

The Voyager condos by Humber Bay keep realtor lockboxes within a larger lockbox in the underground garage. I think its a great idea (as long as they are located in a secure area), as it can be very convenient if you're showing multiple units in the building! @Solaris at Metrogate also has a dedicated area for lockboxes, but they are not contained within a larger box.

Lock box is a must for every condominium. This helps to keep the keys together in one place so that we do not misplace it. @Waterview Condominiums have a lock box section .
